International Guidebook Writing Contest 2010

After much success last year, GuideGecko has just launched the 2010 edition of its international writing contest. And this time, it is even better!

All travel, food and lifestyle guidebooks can be submitted. The winning titles will be showcased on the world’s largest book fair in Frankfurt, top prize is a personal trip to the fair. As you can imagine, this is a tremendous opportunity for writers to meet and mingle with renowned publishers and to expose their titles to over 299,000 visitors.

What is The Group? The members of CreateLeVoyage.com’s Core Team says…

Aaron Lee : It is a community of people who are engaged in arts and culture. It’s about understanding and being convicted to look at things with a godly perspective.

Dawn Fung :  It’s an opportunity to think about being Christ-centred in all the creativity that we’re blessed with. From this centredness, believers will be free to create in the way God made them, without the shackles of tradition or stereotypical mindsets.

Annabelle Bok : It’s a safe place to explore that particular journey. All of us have different approaches or ways, and the time it takes doesn’t matter, because not everyone has the same journey. From my experience, the most lasting and impactful changes in attitude and belief is when you walk the journey yourself and with people to catch you when you fall.

At CreateLeVoyage.com, we value the Word of God by desiring to obey what He says. The Word of God reminds us of two things in ministry : Firstly, without God our Father in charge, the ministry is fruitless. Secondly, we ought to always pray for one another as we build the kingdom because we fight not against flesh and blood. There is a real spiritual battle when we seek to obey Him.
