Join us for our annual Writers Group Retreat.

CreateLeVoyage Writers' Group Retreat | 26, 27 August 2009

It was a GREAT weekend retreat -- first at Fost Gallery and then the next day at the hospitable home of Michael Yap. Restfulness was the key word -- that, and listening. The first evening we interacted prayerfully with art, uncovering unexpected and precious truths for each of our lives. The second day was a blessed time of experiencing the magnificent mind of our Creator God, through a viewing and discussion of Louie Giglio's film Indescribable. A delicious dinner followed (home-made burgers), and the evening ended with a time of prayer and affirming CLV as a ministry. Thank you Lord for being with us in this gathering. We just can't wait to ''retreat'' again!

''[It was] deeply meditative; we carved out a spiritual space where we could have an intimate encounter with God.'' - Namiko Lee

''Lectio divina on Divergences allowed me to contemplate the Word as He becomes flesh through the tightly drawn faces of the women portrayed -- faces marked by weariness, ennui, uncertainty, emptiness. All seeking a final Rest -- one that ultimately can only be found in Him.'' - Wang Chu Qiao

''...Indescribable really opened up my eyes to see God's creation in a different light'' - Spencer Ng

''I enjoyed how the Holy Spirit opened up the sharing to speak into individual lives.'' - Dawn Chua-Fung

''Simply awesome... a time of listening to and learning from the Holy Spirit, in a setting of warm fellowship.'' - Aaron Lee

''God showed up, as He always does, and which always makes all the difference. There's no better way to describe it. It was wonderful how He revealed aspects of Himself to various attendees via new angles and perspectives. This is what it's all about! '' - Annabelle Ang-Bok
